Government Schemes for Students – भारत में आज करोड़ों प्रतिभाशाली छात्र ऐसे हैं जो पढ़ना चाहते हैं, Doctor बनना चाहते हैं, Engineer बनना चाहते हैं, IAS बनना चाहते हैं, Research करना चाहते हैं – लेकिन घर की आर्थिक स्थिति इतनी कमज़ोर है कि School की Fees भरना मुश्किल है, College की तो बात ही छोड़ो। हर साल लाखों मेधावी छात्र सिर्फ़ पैसों की कमी की वजह से पढ़ाई छोड़ देते हैं।
यह देश का सबसे बड़ा नुकसान है – एक Potential Doctor, एक Potential Scientist, एक Potential IAS Officer बस इसलिए नहीं बन पाता क्योंकि उसके पिता की आय ₹10,000/माह है।
लेकिन सच्चाई यह भी है कि भारत सरकार और राज्य सरकारों ने छात्रों के लिए 30 से ज़्यादा ऐसी योजनाएं चला रखी हैं जो Scholarship (₹5,000 से ₹75,000/वर्ष), Free Coaching (IAS/IIT/NEET – पूरा खर्चा सरकार उठाती है), Education Loan (बिना ब्याज या 3-4% Interest), Free Laptop/Tablet, Skill Development Training और Internship Stipend देती हैं।
लेकिन दुखद सच यह है कि 50-60% Eligible Students को इन योजनाओं की जानकारी ही नहीं है। National Scholarship Portal (NSP) पर 100+ Scholarships Listed हैं लेकिन ज़्यादातर छात्रों को NSP का पता ही नहीं।

Government Schemes for Students में Post Matric Scholarship सबसे ज़्यादा छात्रों को लाभ देने वाली योजना है।
परिचय
Post Matric Scholarship भारत सरकार की सबसे पुरानी और सबसे बड़ी Scholarship Scheme है। Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (SC के लिए), Ministry of Tribal Affairs (ST के लिए), Ministry of Social Justice (OBC के लिए) और Ministry of Minority Affairs (Minorities के लिए) – चार अलग-अलग मंत्रालय यह Scholarship देते हैं। Class 11 से PhD तक के छात्र Eligible हैं। हर साल 3+ करोड़ छात्रों को इसका लाभ मिलता है।

आवेदन कैसे करें
Step 1: National Scholarship Portal (NSP) पर जाएं।
Step 2: “New Registration” पर Click करें। आधार नंबर, नाम, जन्मतिथि, Mobile Number, Email भरें। OTP Verification करें। Application ID और Password बनेगा – Save करें।
Step 3: Login करें → “Fresh Application” Select करें। Scholarship Name Select करें (Post Matric SC/ST/OBC/Minority)। Personal Details, Academic Details, Bank Details, Income Details भरें।
Step 4: Documents Upload करें – आधार कार्ड, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Previous Year Marksheet, Admission Letter, Bank Passbook, Passport Photo, Institute Verification Form।
Step 5: Submit करें → Institute Verification → State/District Verification → DBT Payment।
Timeline: NSP Portal हर साल August-November में Fresh Applications लेता है। Renewal October-January में।
